    October 3, 2008 - The last episode of The Daily Byte

    • Kelly Cochrane testified at his trial that he did not force sexual contact with the women at the various times between 2004 and last year. His trial could go to jury today
    • 16-year-old Alex Serrano is scheduled to be sentenced this morning for firing several shots at an occupied vehicle at Farm Labor Homes. He could be locked up for 1 1/2 to 2 years
    • 13-year-old Jaime Martinez is to be sentenced this morning for making a bomb threat at Garrison Middle School in May
    • Vicki Hillhouse presents some tourism figures for the Valley
    • Vick also introduces a new architectural design firm in Walla Walla, R & R Designs
    • In our Sunday edition, look out for coverage of the dog stampede and read about Pam Elia, president and charter member of the Italian Heritage Association as she prepares for the annual Festa on October 11 and 12

    • A jury was selected for trial of Kelly Cochrane who is charged with two counts of indecent liberties for allegedly groping, grabbing and fondling the women while employed by Valley Vision
    • Eddie Sardina was sentenced to six months in the County Jail for stabbing an acquaintance last month
    • Anthony Lutz, accused of holding up a local store, pleaded innocent and is set for trial Nov. 5 and 6 on charge of first-degree robbery
    • Michael Miranda-Vargas pleaded innocent to robbing the Walla Walla Worm Ranch
    • Christopher Posthumos has been charged with raping a woman in the city earlier this month
    • If you plan on crossing the Snake River using one the dams you should call the Corps of Engineers at 1-888-326-4636  to check the news crossing schedule
